We go ALL OUT!

To make sure that our students get the most comprehensive bartender training program offered today.

Students learn basic and complex drinks, all of which are very popular and highly ordered cocktails throughout the Pittsburgh region. We don’t clog your mind with drink recipes that you’ll never make or that are not frequently ordered.

We focus heavily on customer service and providing the best experience to your customers.

We teach beer tapping and pouring with the Anheuser-Busch “Beertender” training program and the Guinness Beer “Perfect Pour” training program in addition to working with and drawing beer
from real beer kegs here at the school.

We believe that you learn to bartend by actually getting to do it first hand. This way you know your stuff, inside and out. Our graduation requirements are among the toughest in the industry.
Our students need at least a 90% overall testing average in order to graduate, unlike other schools where a 70-75% average will do.

We pride ourselves on going the extra mile in everything that we do, and it shows because our graduates are some of the best bartenders in the industry today.

Curriculum

The classroom is designed to simulate an actual bar. There are no desks-and-chairs here! Elite Bartending School promotes a fun, relaxed and professional learning atmosphere. On the first day of class, students are already learning behind a fully-equipped bar mixing drinks under the supervision of one of our qualified instructors.

CurriculumElite Bartending School offers 3 different classes to fit your schedule. Our 40 hour Professional Mixology course consists of ten 4-hour lessons. Each lesson is an independent module that can be taken in any order after the first class and orientation. The course is 40 hours in total. You can enroll in the one week course which runs Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. You can enroll in the two week night course which runs Monday to Friday from 6pm to 10pm for two weeks and finally, Elite Bartending School also offers a 3 Week weekend course which consists of 3 consecutive Saturdays and 2 consecutive Sundays from 10am to 6pm. In addition, we have the option of tailoring a flexible schedule using any combination of day, evening, weekend or special times to fit any students situation. That's a big reason we were listed The Best Bartending Class in Pittsburgh in 2012.
